The Crocodile Hunter

Steve Irwin and his wife Terri hosted The Crocodile Hunter, a wildlife documentary television series. Because of Irwin’s unique approach to wildlife, the show became a successful franchise. The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course, a feature film, and two television spinoffs, Croc Files and The Crocodile Hunter Diaries were all born from the film. 

The series premiered on Animal Planet and went on to become the network’s highest-rated show at the time. It was also syndicated internationally on networks all over the world. From 1997 to 2004, the show aired 64 episodes over five seasons, with a pilot episode in 1996 and 13 specials in 2007. The series is the second-longest-running program on the Discovery Communications network, behind MythBusters, with a nearly 11-year run.

River Monsters

River Monsters is a British and American wildlife documentary television show produced by Icon Films in Bristol, the United Kingdom for Animal Planet. 

Extreme angler and biologist Jeremy Wade hosts the show, which travels the world in search of the most terrifying freshwater and saltwater killers, looking for clues, eyewitnesses, and stories about people who have been dragged underwater by these vicious predators. He tries to capture the largest specimens before releasing them into the wild. His goal is to educate people about the truth behind animals’ attacks on humans in order to save these endangered species from extinction.

It is an American wildlife documentary television show that first aired on Animal Planet in 2000. Jeff Corwin, an actor, and conservationist who previously hosted Disney Channel’s Going Wild With Jeff Corwin hosted the event. Following the format of shows such as America’s Funniest Home Videos and others, the show shows a series of home movies on video submitted by viewers featuring amusing and unusual behavior by pets and animals, which are voiced over by the host, who usually describes the action in the clips in a humorous manner. 

The show was taped in front of a live studio audience, but a laugh track was used in place of the audience’s laughter in some clips. Until 2005, the show was hosted by Animal Planet announcer Matt Gallant, and then by MADtv cast member Keegan-Michael Key until the show’s cancellation. John Cramer was the announcer.
